Kazee vs Salesforce
Kazee vs Salesforce: an honest comparison for Kenyan teams
Salesforce is a CRM with sales and service products, larger editions for complex teams and its own AI agents. Kazee is a smaller suite for businesses in Kenya and East Africa that puts CRM next to support, team chat, projects and HR.
If you are looking for a Salesforce alternative in Kenya, this page compares the two using each company’s own published information. Where Salesforce does more, we say so plainly.

Who each one suits
The main question is how deep your sales and service processes go, and how much of the wider business you want in the same place.
- Salesforce suits sales and service teams with detailed processes that need to grow into larger editions, more connectors and more AI over time.[4][7][8]
- Salesforce also suits companies that already have a Salesforce partner or admin, or that need to load very large volumes of records.[9]
- Kazee suits growing teams that want CRM, support, chat, projects and HR from one supplier under one sign-in, and want to start with one app.
- Kazee also suits businesses where most staff only need chat, projects and HR self-service. Those people are $5 a month on Kazee; full seats for sales, support and finance are $20.
Where Salesforce is stronger
Salesforce has a long track record and a lot of depth. If these points matter most, it may suit you better.
- Maturity. Salesforce has been in business since 1999. Kazee is much newer, and some of its apps are still in Preview or early access.[10]
- Depth of CRM. Beyond Starter and Pro, Salesforce offers Core, Advanced and Max editions for larger and more complex sales and service teams.[4]
- Connectors. Pro Suite comes with over 150 built-in connectors. Kazee connects to a small number of tools, such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Books and your existing mailbox.[7]
- AI agents. Agentforce is a full product with its own pricing. Kazee’s Agent Space is an invite-only private beta.[8]
- Large data loads. Salesforce’s Data Loader handles up to 150 million records. Kazee has no general-purpose import tool today.[9]
Where Kazee is different
Kazee is not a CRM with extras bolted on. It is a set of apps for the whole team, with CRM as one of them.
- More than CRM in the price. A full Kazee seat covers CRM, Desk and Books (Preview), plus Chat, Spaces and People, so sales, support, finance and the rest of the team work under one sign-in.
- A lower seat price for the rest of the team. Kazee is free for up to 3 people. On the paid plan, people who work in CRM, Desk and Books are $20 a month each, and people who only need Chat, Spaces and People are $5. Prices are in US dollars, before VAT.
- Chat and HR included. Kazee Chat has messages, voice and video calls on web, mobile and desktop. Kazee People handles attendance, leave and payroll with PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and Housing Levy rates.
- Subscriptions and renewals in CRM. Kazee CRM tracks leads, deals, customers, subscriptions and renewals in one place, without a separate billing spreadsheet.
How to move from Salesforce to Kazee
Kazee has no import from Salesforce today. That makes a gradual move the realistic path.
- Start with the team that gains most. One option is to start with support in Kazee Desk or the whole company on Kazee Chat, and leave the sales pipeline where it is for now.
- Keep your records. Take a copy of your Salesforce data before you change anything, so you are not depending on access to the old system later.
- Move the pipeline last. When you are ready to bring deals and customers across, contact us and we can talk through what is involved for your data.
